The Courtier Is Now Closed (But My New Blog Is Now Open!)

Gentle Readers:

After more than a decade, it’s finally time for me to say goodbye to this blog, and move my scribblings over to a new one: wbdnewton.com

For current subscribers, you’ll need to re-subscribe on the new site by going to the new home page, and entering your email address in the “Subscribe Via Email” box. That way you’ll continue receive my latest articles and updates in your inbox, just as you’ve always done. Those of you who usually access my posts via social media should not notice any change. While some of the final design details are still being worked out, I hope that you’ll find the new site easier to use, visually appealing, and a more central location for things like publications, appearances, and getting in touch.

Although I won’t be updating the Blog of the Courtier anymore, not to worry: you’ll still be able to read and search through archived posts on this site. There are literally hundreds of articles here, some of no great worth, but a few of which I am reasonably proud. It’s been a great creative outlet for me, and also a way to meet and get to know many smart, interesting people.

My sincere gratitude to all of my readers over the past ten years for your support. I hope that I can count on your continued support over on the new blog, where your readership and feedback will be just as important to me as they always have been. You should expect to see new posts popping up over there within the next day or so.

Thank you and very best wishes from

William Newton
