I’m very pleased to spread the word that the work of my friend Diana von Glahn over at The Faithful Traveler will debut on EWTN, the Eternal Word Television Network, beginning March 4th. For those who have not stopped by Diana’s blog from my blog roll as of yet, The Faithful Traveler’s site is described thusly:
The Faithful Traveler is a travel show with a Catholic focus. Join the show’s host, Diana von Glahn, as she explores the art, architecture, history, and doctrine behind the many shrines and places of pilgrimage throughout the United States. You’ll learn about the faith and tradition of the Catholic Church and gain helpful information to plan your own pilgrimages.
Her work, though far larger in scope that my own efforts, has served in part as an inspiration for my own little project, cataloging in English some of the interesting Catholic sites in Barcelona, something which one of my brothers and I had talked about doing for years, and which I work on when I am able.
Diana writes that the first episode will air on Thursday, March 4th at 10:30 a.m., with a repeat on Sunday, March 7th at 5:00 pm. I know that they have all been working very hard over at TFT to get the programs ready for air, and I am very much looking forward to seeing their efforts. Congratulations to Diana and everyone on her team!
