Self-Nomination Letter for the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize

Dear Nobel Peace Prize Committee:

I wish to formally nominate myself as a candidate for the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition of my services to the Arab-Israeli peace process. I am the descendant of Arabs, through my Moorish ancestors on my Spanish side, and of Jews, one of my ancestors being the first English Jew to settle permanently in the Americas. As such I am the living embodiment of a peaceful coexistence between these two peoples. Admittedly I have not actually done anything yet to further the peace process other than enjoying Moroccan food and having read some of the essays of Isaiah Berlin, but since the Committee no longer considers actual achievement but rather the promise of it in awarding this prize, I am fully qualified to be considered for it.

Thank you for your kind consideration of my application,
