Musicals are great but the thing is that they are not for everyone. I remember my first time watching Les Misérables and I could not sit through it because it was my first time sitting through a musical but over the course of years, I developed a strong liking towards musicals and now I make sure that I watch every other musical with a strong plot and a good cast.
Now, if you are wondering about Hamilton musical or something else, you have to understand that you are not going to walk into the theater and get the same experience you would be getting while watching a movie or something else along the same lines. Musicals are inherently different and you can spoil the fun for yourself if you are not being careful about it.
Not Paying Attention
Honestly, if you are not paying attention thinking that it is just a musical, you are not going to enjoy it at all and things are going to go wrong at all costs. This is never fun and you have to avoid that at all costs, because if you don’t avoid it, you might end up in a bad experience and you would wonder if you have just wasted your money, which is not what we want.
Thinking There is No Plot
This is a common mistake that I see people make all the time when they are watching musicals. They are under the impression that there is no plot to begin with. This is not true at all; musicals have some of the most interesting plots that you can find and the best part is that you are going to enjoy without getting bored thanks to all the dramatics that go into it.
